What's Growing On!

On an un-seasonably warm May 2 more than 50 new (and a few returning) CSA members visited Pennypack Farm to discover "what's growing on" this season at Pennypack Farm.

Farm TourThe day was filled with introductions to the farm staff, volunteers and board members.

CSA members had the opportunity to take a farm tour, to learn how to navigate share pick-up days and to discover all of the great educational opportunities that are available at the farm.

A special thanks to everyone who made the day a success!

I look forward to seeing you during the 2010 season!

The Edible Classroom & You
CurrantsAs the weather warms and the days grow longer there are many hidden treasures to be found in our Edible Classroom. The fig trees are leafing-out, beautiful clover patches are keeping the ground moist for Paw-Paw trees, and the currant plants are bursting with berries. Come by and take a stroll through the garden to see what hidden treasures you can discover.
