Winter Share Reminder
For Winter Share Members, the next pickup of the winter share will be Tuesday, November 24.  Note that this second pickup will be a double share, meaning extra quantities, to help you stock up for the Thanksgiving Holiday.  The third pickup will be Friday, December 4.
Reminder - 2010 CSA Shares
Don't forget to send in your application for your 2010 share.  All current shareholders, regular and winter season, must have their application and deposit in by Thanksgiving in order to guarantee a share.

If you have any questions, send an email to Margot at coordinator.pennypackfarm@gmail.com.

Forms and checks can be mailed or dropped off at the farm 8am-5pm Mon-Fri.
Find-A-Share Partner
One of our Board members has independently created a primitive match-up via Google Docs and Spreadsheets.

We take no responsibility for your experience with this new service.

If you are interested in listing your need for a share partner, please email suscurry@comcast.net and she will send you an email invitation to access the Find-A-Share Partner spread sheet. You will be required to create an ID and password when you sign up for Google Docs.  You will not be subject to any emails other than from people seeking to share a foodshare with you. Once you have found a match for this season your information can be removed.

Save the Dates: Sustainability Movie Series
Pennypack introduces their first
"Sustainability Movie Series"

Stay involved over the winter and learn how small changes by individuals can lead to big differences for the world.  The movies will be shown on Tuesday nights at the Ambler Theater.  All movies will begin at 7:30pm.    Different panels of speakers will lead the after-movie discussions; other handouts and raffles will be available each night.

January 12 - END OF THE LINE - reveals the impact of overfishing on our oceans.  Scientists predict that at the current rate of fishing, most seafood will be gone by 2048.  The movie points to solutions that are simple and doable and will ensure a supply of seafood for future generations.  Check out the trailer at www.endoftheline.com

February 9 - TAPPED - looks at the environmental damage and health risks created by bottled water.  Is access to clean drinking water a basic human right or a commodity to be bought and sold?  Just two startling facts - 40% of bottled water is just tap water (so why pay for it?) and two million tons of plastic garbage created by bottled water  is in landfills, or worse, in the ocean.  This movie will make you think twice before you pick up another plastic water bottle.  www.tappedthemovie.com

March 9 - FRESH - a positive look at how farmers, thinkers and business people across America are re-inventing our food system to forge healthier, sustainable alternatives to agri-business.  This movie will get you enthused about your food again and get you itching to be in the garden.
