| Greetings!
A big thanks to all who attended our Cattle meeting last month, particularly our speakers, Dr. Doug Hawkins, Purina Mills; Mike Arnold, Ellis County Extension Agent; Waxahachie Sheriff's Office & Dow Chemical.  If you stopped by the store that afternoon you may not have found parking!

Our first hard freeze has hit, so now is the time to get serious on winterizing your pets and livestock.  Ensure your cattle have a high energy supplement available to them this winter.  Ark Country Store carries Purina's latest liquid feed, AccuRange-Lix. This supplement is a highest-energy, low consumption cattle feed on the market today. Want to know more?  Call the store and ask for Austin or Candice.

Have you been naughty or nice?  Either way, Ark Country Store has a large selection of gift items that are perfect for under the tree this Christmas.  Many are on sale, check out the items below and stop in soon!

Feeding your horse good quality hay is important during winter months
Feeding your horse good quality hay is important during winter months when pasture grasses are short or are not growing. Horses need at least 1-1.5% of their body weight per day in roughages to maintain a healthy GI tract, but 2% or even more may be appropriate during cold weather, especially when the horse lives outdoors.
