This month's educational workshop is on pond management. Bob Lusk, editor of Pond Boss Magazine returns to Ark Country Store this week for a pond management workshop. After listening to Bob talk about ponds, plan to stock up on fish Saturday when Tommy's Fish Truck rolls into town. Ark Country Store has stocked up on Aquamax Fish Chow and Game Fish Chow for these events!

Tommy's Fish Truck will roll into Waxahachie on Saturday, May 8 2010 between 1:00 and 3:00 pm.

Now is the time to plant hot-weather, summer blooming plants such as
Mexican firebush, blue daze, succulents, purple fountain grass,
Duranta, copper canyon daises, and angel's trumpet, which needs some
afternoon shade.
Plant caladiums, coleus, pentas, impatiens, and begonias in shady
spots.
Mulch flowerbeds and vegetable gardens to reduce weeds and minimize
watering and evaporation.
Plant hot weather vegetables, including southern peas, okra, and
melons.
Spring blooming bulbs can be dug, divided and replanted. Make sure
