Quotable Quote:  I appreciate the possibility that this method may be applied at various levels - meaning, in very complex situations (like a country) or to less complex oportunities for change.... and also the depth of analysis and investigation required so that change can be sustainable.     ~ Spiral Dynamics participant, April 2011

Good things people say about
 Spiral Dynamics

April 2011:

- I enjoyed my first trip to the US and the course immensely. The stories and films were magic stuff!

- The course was well organized and followed a systematic flow. I was inspired by the presentations and case studies from individuals who have applied SDi in their work and Don's stories.

- The films really showed the applications. The group exercises were really essential practical sessions, and revealing personally and professionaly. They showed how each color would talk to another. The group activity in Level 2 helped gain a better understanding of what others were taking from the sessions.

 - The course has allowed me to think differently from a professional and personal perspective. It has motivated me to inject the practice in to my every day personal and professional life, to help me analyze the dynamics of change on a day to day basis.

- The whole week was very inspiring, great learning experience, my expectations where exceeded. The facilitation in such a simple way that we could understand. The depth of the concepts, great.

 - I liked the activities that reinforced the learning like wearing the glasses to see the different colors and all the stand-up activities. Each one created a very real change in perception.

- I really liked all the data, analysis, investigation, etc., that support the methodology, it is Valuable!!

- What was inspiring to me was a moment in the session when Don was talking about higher level systems; I suddenly became conscious of problems at a Global level and what it takes to think from that perspective.

- The course exceeded my expectations; I have been exposed to a bit of the SDI teachings before my arrival. I was missing the 'how' in terms of connecting the dots and understanding the whole concept as one piece. It was inspiring to see Mr. Don in action - the way he would explain such complex issue with such ease. After the course,I started seeing everything around me in color. It is a beautiful thing.

 - The blend of presentation and activities was helpful. I'd like even more stories - Don's stories were a highlight!

-The course deepened my understanding of Spiral Dynamics Integral and Natural Design. Talking and listening to Don Beck and hearing the case studies from the guest speakers gave me further insights on how to apply the theory to future change initiatives.

- I liked the examples of how Don has experienced and applied Spiral Dynamics on a global scale, the references to Graves original work, and the tools and materials to take away.

 - Certain concepts were presented as 'nuggets' of information, like the barcode principle, the Five Deep Model & Natural Design stages were very valuable. Personal learning's include understanding / reflecting on how the different vMemes surface in you at different times due to the external influences of the time. To incorporate the learning's into everyday activities will be the next step.

- It was inspiring to have a way of looking current conflicts that makes sense and provides a way to move forward.

In Level 1 we will explore the academic underpinnings of Dr. Graves core theory, learn how living social systems emerge and evolve, learn to recognize their healthy and unhealthy form of expression and gain insights for aligning organizations and groups for strategic evolution. Participants will gain insight into the nature of conflict, change, and healing.

Also included are self-testing and take-home materials and manuals. Through individual and group activities, using audio and video components, cartoons and music, we provide participants with the feeling of moving through the expressions of each of the first six value systems of the spiral experientially.

In Level 2, we study various applications and learn that we are uniquely equipped to leverage our deep understanding of the complexities of human culture to bridge organizational and global divides that cannot build bridges themselves.

3-week Synthesis online!

After Level 1-2, you can fine tune your personal or professional applications of Spiral Dynamics theory and learn more by joining a 3-week structured educational dialogue online.

Advance Software Training Required

Good things people say about SDi 3-week Synthesis session:

- The instructor shows he has a deep understanding of SD's theory and practice. His feed-back was prompt, addressed the issues, challenged my thinking and, most important, opened new ways of thinking.

- I found the assignments themselves to be provocative, valuable and a good application of the material. The instructor was knowledgeable and very helpful. Overall this has been a good experience.

- Writing papers and getting feedback and comments were the most useful thing. Through those activities, my thoughts about SDi were clarified and it promoted my understanding of SDi better.

- The valuable inputs and feedback helped me understand SDi better and faster.

- My purpose in taking this online was to stay connected with the SD materials following the face to face program to deepen on its contents. The questions asked were relevant to my purpose and aided me in achieving my goal. The instructor provided very insightful responses to my postings.

- The most useful and interesting part of this class was to review the SD method overall. Although we only discussed it lightly, it was interesting to learn about the relationship between SD and NLP: Neural Linguistic Programming language.
