The Adizes International Convention in Las Vegas!
The Adizes Graduate School was proud to be part of the 31st International Convention sponsored by our founder, The Adizes Institute, Shoham and Dr. Ichak Adizes. A group of AGS staff and students enjoyed educational seminars that covered health and well being in mind, body and spirit; impressive presentations from globally-based CEO's who had used the Adizes methodology and Spiral Dynamics to achieve significant transformation in their companies; and we learned the conceptual foundations of Adizes methodology itself in a fascinating 3-day seminar with participants from eight countries such as Greece, Israel, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and all over Eastern Europe.

Spiral Dynamics in Santa Barbara!
September 7-12, 2009: As demonstrated at the Adizes International Convention, Spiral Dynamics has emerged as a powerful tool for understanding the complexity of human behaviour in family, culture, business and society.
 Several companies, including the León, México (Cuinba) operations of GST Autoleather, a multi-national Japanese corporation that supplies Toyota, Honda and other OEMs, demonstrated how the mesh of Adizes constructs and Spiral Dynamics have been integral to succesful operations, long term planning, and the integration of multi-cultural venues in the global network.
Spiral Dynamics provides a  scaffolding upon which other management methodologies can be implemented, such as Lean, Balanced Scorecard, and more. It is particularly applicable to understanding values, leadership, internal and external stakeholder communications, driving vision within a company and connectivity with its market.  Adizes Breakthrough to Prime!
September 14-16: Come to Santa Barbara this fall and learn Adizes methods for managing change! The Las Vegas convention provided a unique insight into how Adizes methodology has helped a variety of companies around the world to transform themselves into flexible, efficient, and effective organizations in their market today.
Convention participants from all types of  organizations in eight different countries lauded the breakthroughs achieved with Adizes constructs such as Organizational Lifecycles; Leadership Roles and Styles over the lifecycle; the 8-steps to making good decisions; Coalescing Authority, Power and Influence to assure that good decisions are implemented; aligning organizational structure; selecting the right people for the right teams; and cascading knowledge throughout an organization - and even more (slide from GST).
 An organization can survive for generations, but the vitatlity with which it was founded is not always sustained. Adizes primary objective is to transfer the technology to an organization so that it can remain vital and responsive to internal and external conditions, sustainable and functioning in the *Prime* of its' life for generations to come. The conceptual foundations of the methodology, and more, were taught during a 3-day seminar prior to the Convention. It was an extraordinary learning experience.  Student experiences in Las Vegas!
Adizes Graduate School students and prospective students attended the 5-day Adizes International Convention this year. While some enjoyed socializing, inquiring into what others were up to, and touring the city with their families, others said the best moments were Dr. Adizes practical insights on overall networking and partnership building, and the presentations demonstrating Adizes global impact and transparency. Still others enjoyed learning how Spiral Dynamics and Adizes aided change in South Africa, the CEO Panel where companies spoke of the power of using Adizes methodology, and presentations that focused on personal health and well being. Best of all was the opportunity to talk to various speakers individually inbetween sessions! Of course, overseas participants also enjoyed Las Vegas!
