Pre-convention event: Spiral Dynamics has emerged as a powerful tool for understanding the complexity of human behaviour in family, culture, business and society. It is particularly applicable to management interactions such as motivation, marketing and job matching in business and community scenarios. Spiral Dynamics has also been successfully employed around the globe for conceiving and implementing real-world solutions to social conflicts, and developing clarity of vision in strategic planning. Dr. Don E. Beck, author of Spiral Dynamics: Mastering Values, Leadership and Change, will provide a practical immersion into the fundamentals and application of Spiral Dynamics through multi-media presentations including film, music and group activities. He will highlight current projects such as Iceland, Mexico, and Israel/Palestine, and provide plenty of take-home materials. |

July 1: Pre-convention event:
Dr. Ichak Adizes, founder of the Adizes Institute and Graduate School, is internationally recognized as a brilliant, dynamic speaker. Dr. Adizes has received eight (8) honorary doctorates from Universities around the world for his work in complex organizational contexts. He will engage you immediately in this in-depth gathering as he presents his latest book, How to Manage in Times of Crisis. Using Adizes tools, Dr. Adizes will examine the causes of crises, and what can be done to identify potential crises before it is too late. He will demonstrate how some management models actually played a part in creating the current economic crisis and present an alternative management model for a new era of sustainable business leadership practices. This event has limited seating.
