    • Tuesday Morning Discipleship begins September 21 and meets weekly through December 14.  Our morning begins in the Great Hall with coffee, food and fellowship at 9:15 and ends at 11:30.  The offerings this fall are 1) "Dust to Glory - The New Testament" 2) "Christianity Explored"  3) "Crazy Love".  Registration and payment are due no later than September 12.  Childcare is available.
    • Wednesday Morning Study  begins September 22, and meets weekly through May, 9:30 - 11:30 in E204 leader John Murtha.  Call Doll Gibson for more information 440.871.9290. No childcare.
    • Thursday Morning Study begins September 16 - December 16  at 9:30 - 11:30.  Join us as we study "The Truth Project" For more information or to register, please call Glennie Hassenflue 440.331.5911. No childcare.

  • You're Invited - Christian Business Owners Fellowship Dinner
    • Thursday, September 9, from 6:15 - 8:30 pm at DoubleTree Hotel in Independence.
    • Speaker - Mr. John D. Beckett, Chairman of the R.W. Beckett Corporation in North Ridgeville, Ohio. 
    • He has written two books and was named "Christian Businessman of the Year" by the Christian Broadcasting Network (1999) and manufacturing "Entrepreneur of the Year" by Ernst & Young (2003).  The cost of the dinner is $35.

    • CBOF is a ministry whose mission is to walk along side Christian business owners as companions-encouraging and equipping each other in the journey of applying the truths of Scripture to our daily lives and businesses.

  • Volunteers Needed:
    • 9:30 service hour: 
      • 2 ½ and 4/5 year old preschool small group shepherd
    • 11:15 service hour:
      •  2 ½ and 4/5 year old preschool, kindergarten and 3rd grade small group shepherd
    • These commitments can be every week, every other week, or every other month.  No direct teaching required.  Our focus is on building relationships with children and their families, and to share God's word through a curriculum that is already provided for you.

  • Get on the Bus - Sunday, we're hosting B.U.S.E.S. International. This ministry turns buses into mobile medical and dental clinics, portable kitchens and food service vehicles, mobile shower and bathing facilities, classrooms, ministry outreach vehicles, disaster relief units.
  • Support Our Soldiers - Sunday is the last chance to bring items for soldiers recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Thanks for your support. Details
  • Our response to the devastating floods in Pakistan.  We have sent $2000 to World Relief to help  with flood relief. If you wish to make a donation above your regular giving, please go through World Relief. Click here for details.
  • Can You Donate?  We are asking for books-on-tape for Malachi House, a non-denominational residence serving people whom doctors say will live only 90 days.  Bring your books-on-tape to the Welcome Center.
  • NEOIN Fall Equipping the Saints Seminar Sat. Sept. 18 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm at Bethany Assembly of God in Parma. No pre-registration required.
  • Nursing Home Ministry Training Seminar Sept. 25 from 9:00am-3:00pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 27993 Detroit Rd., Westlake. Lunch will be provided. Interested in providing Christ centered love and hope to Nursing Home residents? Contact Elaine Edkin for information and to register.

Community Corner   
  • Like to quilt?  Bay Presbyterian Mission Quilters meet once a month on the first Sunday, from 12:30 - 2:30 pm in E200, beginning September.  They sew blankets for children who are seriously ill, traumatized or just need comfort. Blankets are donated to the National Project Linus through the Cleveland Chapter.  Call x101, or email sneeson@baypres.org 
  • Cornerstone of Hope Bereavement Group starts a new sessionTuesday, September 28.  The session will run for 8 weeks on Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:00 pm.  If you are in need of support from a loss, please email sneeson@baypres.org, or call x101.
