2011 Ministry Highlights
As the 2011 year came to an end and we begin ministering in 2012, we would be remised if we didn't pause and reflect on the work God did through the ministry of FCA last year. Thanks to our faithful and generous ministry partners the following ministry occurred last year in 2011. - Certified Campus Ministries - 132
- Bibles Distributed - 876
- FCA Campers (Athletes & Coaches) - 56
- FCA Coaches in Bible Studies - 79
- Athletes/Students in Huddles (Approx. Each Week) - 7900
This ministry was able to happen in part because of your financial support of the Central Indiana FCA Ministry. To date, this school year (some of these numbers overlap with the previous statistics), we have seen God work in amazing ways. - Through Wiley Petersen (PBR Bull Rider), The Colt's Gameday and the Purdue Gameday we were able to share to approximately 1,445 people about the good news of Jesus Christ.
Through events, chapel services, speaking engagements, huddle ministry, etc... we were in front of approximately 10,000 people this first semester alone. |

Background to Theme:
Everyone at an athletic competition knows the moment it happens. The competitors can sense it; the coaches can only watch it and the fans are in awe of it. It's the instant when an athlete takes his or her game to a higher level during the course of a contest. Something happens that catapults the athlete into a stage of competitive performance where every skill is performed with perfection and every move is executed flawlessly. The competitor's confidence rises with every second that goes by...and he or she literally becomes unstoppable. The athlete is playing "In the Zone."
God desires each one of us to live our lives "In the Zone" through an unstoppable faith. He calls us to a higher level of living that is much greater than simply living for ourselves. What would your team or sport look like if you lived your life "In the Zone" for the Lord? How would things change on your campus if you lived out an unstoppable faith in Jesus Christ? Is this level of spiritual influence possible? Absolutely! It's time to live "In the Zone" for Jesus Christ!
