Resource Management vs. Waste Managment
Once the basic source reduction measures are in place, like waste-free lunch days, double-sided copying policies, recycling bins for paper, cans and bottles, etc., there are other items that can be diverted from the garbage through "special" reuse and recycling programs. These items will need to be collected separately and may have a recycling fee or some provide revenue to the school.
