Field Trip Opportunities
With budget constraints and rising transportation costs, the cost of a field trip may be prohibitive for many schools.

Wagner FarmWagner Farm, part of Glenview's Park District, brings the farm experience to your school for a fee.  Their History Hits the Road program gives students the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities that teach them about farming techniques, seasonal crops and transportation. The 55-minute program is offered to preschool through sixth grades and can be tailored to specific grades, age groups or curricula.  Wagner Farm also offers unique on-site programs for all grade levels. For more information, visit glenviewparks.org.

Angelic Organics Learning Center logoAngelic Organics offers on-farm programs, tours and workshops so that all ages can directly experience where food comes. On the farm, visitors can use real tools, eat from the fields, milk goats, feed chickens, make soap, or build a compost pile, and you'll do more than get your hands dirty. Their experienced farmer-educators will help visitors connect body, heart, and mind with meaningful work, new ideas and experiences, and the diversity of life on the farm.

Angelic Organics Learning Center is an exciting and engaging place to learn about food, farming, and caring for the earth. For more information, visit learngrowconnect.org.
