Standarized Labels for Recycling Bins

Standardized recycling labelsThis email is being resent due to a expired link.

Currently there are hundreds of thousands, if not millions of variations of labels on recycling bins across the country. This inconsistency has led to frustration, confusion, low capture rates, contaminated contents, valuable materials ending up in landfills, unnecessary expenses, landfill overuse, and often inaction.

An epic national recycling solution:  As a result of a non-profit collaborative effort between recycling industry and business leaders and the UPonGREEN Environmental Advancement Foundation, there are now, for the first time in the history of recycling in the U.S.,standardized labels for recycling bins to eliminate confusion, and expedite environmental progress.

Schools and non-profits are able to print the posters as is for no cost, or order posters with a personalized logo for a nominal fee.

See the entire label gallery.
