Often times, the one thing that is lacking to make real change within your school is funding. With SWANCC's Eco-Friendly Product Fundraisers handout, you will see many ideas that are easy to implement with little effort, such as collectiong cell phones, printer cartridges or materials found in the cafeteria. Other options include selling eco-friendly products. Your students can teach others about the importance of compact fluorescent light bulbs that use less energy, reusable bags to create less waste in the first place or Fair Trade items that promote socially responsible products.
