Several years ago, SWANCC established the Eco-Friendly Marketplace to raise awareness about products that were available to consumers that are made from recycled materials, having less of an impact on our Earth's resources to produce. As more and more companies "go green," there are even more varieties of choices for consumers. This can lead to additional confusion to which is the greener, better product to purchase. Additionally, research is warning us of negative health effects associated with certain chemicals, dyes, farming methods and plastics that are associated with some products.
Due to these factors, SWANCC's web-based reference is continually updated to provide a wider range of recycled or renewable products, resources and more.
