Earth Hour
Turn Off The Lights

During Earth Hour 2010, hundreds of millions of people around the world will come together to turn off their lights for one hour. The movement symbolizes that by working together, each of us can make a positive impact to protect our future and that of future generations by conserving energy. Learn more about how Earth Hour began, what has been accomplished and what is coming up for 2010.

Led by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), individuals, state and local governments, organizations and businesses will come together to show their support by turning off the lights in homes, workplaces and at iconic landmarks such as the Empire State Building, Las Vegas Strip, Sydney's Opera House and more.

Since its inception three years ago, Earth Hour reached nearly one billion people - involving 4,100 cities in 87 countries on seven continents.

Join the cause. Turn off your lights from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm on Saturday, March 27, 2010.
