Greetings!

August 18, 2011 - Welcome to another issue of "Independent Publishing Now" celebrating YOU, our members!

So much has happened this summer with IBPA. First there was the IBPA Publishing University and Benjamin Franklin Awards. We attended Book Expo in New York and the ALA in New Orleans representing many of your titles. We MOVED the entire office across town and we welcomed five new board members to the IBPA board of directors!

What did you do on your summer vacation? Send us your summer publishing stories and pictures (festivals, book events, author parties, etc.). We'd love to hear about it!

If you've discovered a helpful site, found a better way of doing something or have a tip that will save other members time or money, please pass it along and we'll share it on your behalf.

And, as always, if you have a question, remember to give us a call, anytime.  If we don't have the answer, we'll find it for you!
