C&T Publishing (www.ctpub.com) announced the launch of their new imprint called Stash. Stash was formulated to respond to the quickly expanding handmade movement and the desire to get "back to basics" by creating unique and inspired fiber arts. The first books in this new imprint will be published in Spring 2010. Among the projects on the inaugural list are Kate Haxell's Me and My Sewing Machine, Cherri House's City Quilts, C&T Design Collective's Little Birds, and Brenna Maloney's Socks Appeal. Sew cute!

Karen Congeni of New Springtime Press announced that her first children's book, We Have A Pope! was granted the Imprimatur by Bishop Richard G. Lennon of the Diocese of Cleveland and recently awarded the Catholic Writer's Guild Seal of Approval. That book trailer is now the "Example" trailer on the publishing platform community site Squidoo.

Speaking of Publishing University and Squidoo - If you haven't heard us shouting from the rooftops already, Squidoo founder and marketing guru Seth Godin is our Keynote Speaker for Publishing University 2010. Check out Seth's blog and you'll see why people love to hear him talk!
