Dear Friends of the House of Lebanon,

We have finished the first month of the new year with our popular Golf Classic and we were honored to have Ambassador Chagoury and his family and friends play in this year's tournament. As we plan our events for 2012, we hope that each activity will bring us together in the spirit of the mission and vision of the Lebanese American Foundation as we work to achieve our goal to establish the House of Lebanon.

Best Wishes from Our House to Yours,

Thank you to everyone for all your assistance, input and help as we move forward in our search. We are using every resource available to us to find the proper location for all our people. Dear Friends,

The House of Lebanon, it's Board Members and friends have stood firm in the belief of supporting our community partners and other Lebanese organizations.  Last Sunday night was no exception, as we supported the Los Angeles Cedars Rotary Club and the World Lebanese Cultural Union at a fund raiser to support two worthy projects in Lebanon - the installation of water filtration systems in ten public schools serving over 3000 students and the purchasing of carpentry and audio visual equipment for physically and mentally challenged children in Beit Saiid and to teach the children a trade.  Congratulations to these two fine organizations on this worthwhile endeavor.

Hello from Carole Choucair Oueijan...

Saturday was a beautiful day at the Huntington Library! The weather was amazing as was the company of

the HOL Artists and HOL Young Professionals...

We had 28 guests attending this trip two of them, Youssef and Ziad, came all the way from San Jose to
join us! Our first stop was at the North Vista /Camellias  to take our group picture (Not everyone was
there yet). After that we walked to see the new Chinese Garden. A beautiful garden that is still under construction. You can see cameras in all hands... The trees of Magnolia Grandiflora was blooming, we were all amazed by their beauty!

We then visited Sam Maloof's work at the Boone gallery. After that we went to eat lunch at the Rose
Garden cafe. It was a pleasure meeting and chatting with everyone.
I would like to thank Benissa, Iris, Jeanice and Reem for helping out and making this trip a sucess! Thank you. Photos will be posted on Facebook.

I will let the pictures tell you more about this day. Enjoy!
