World Renown Violinist - Joseph Chamaa.... Now has openings for students who want to learn the violin. Mr. Chamaa has taught at the Conservatory of Lebanon, the Kaslik, France and most recently at Highland Hall Waldorf School in the USA. Having taught over 1000 students, many are currently playing in symphonic orchestras throughout the world. The best ages to begin taking lessons are from 7 - 15 years of age. The beginning student will follow the international way of classical violin playing and as the student advances and is dedicated to learning Arabic music on the violin, Mr. Chamas is the only violinist in the USA who can play classical music as well as Arabic music to accompany Arabic singers. Hello from Carole Choucair Oueijan... Saturday was a beautiful day at the Huntington Library! The weather was amazing as was the company of the HOL Artists and HOL Young Professionals... We had 28 guests attending this trip two of them, Youssef and Ziad, came all the way from San Jose to join us! Our first stop was at the North Vista /Camellias to take our group picture (Not everyone was there yet). After that we walked to see the new Chinese Garden. A beautiful garden that is still under construction. You can see cameras in all hands... The trees of Magnolia Grandiflora was blooming, we were all amazed by their beauty!
We then visited Sam Maloof's work at the Boone gallery. After that we went to eat lunch at the Rose Garden cafe. It was a pleasure meeting and chatting with everyone. I would like to thank Benissa, Iris, Jeanice and Reem for helping out and making this trip a sucess! Thank you. Photos will be posted on Facebook.

George Assaf was graduated from YWCA with honors from Lebanon as a Fashion Designer and Dress Maker. After graduation he worked with several famous fashion designers in Lebanon and managed huge fashion houses in UAE and Kuwait. In year 2000 George started his own fashion house in Lebanon. In 2002 He won the Golden Medal from Studio El fan on LBCI TV. Since then he has been working in his own Fashion House in Lebanon. In 2003 George participated in the Wedding Exhibition in Phoenicia Hotel in Lebanon In 2004 he did the Byblos Festival in collaboration with the French Fashion Designer Aline Rebiere. George's Fashion designs include Wedding Gowns, Evening Gowns, Dancing Groups costumes, Theatre Costumes and Typical Lebanese Costumes.
