The Shammas Group is a family-owned business that is comprised of seven automobile dealerships, an auto insurance company, and numerous commercial and residential properties located in the Figueroa Corridor south of Downtown L.A. Nickolas N. Shammas is the founder of the Shammas Group. His wife, Jeanette Shammas, who succeeded him in 2003, is the owner today. Darryl Holter is the CEO.

The Shammas Group has focused its business strategy on the some 100,000 people who commute to and work in Downtown Los Angeles every day. The group also actively contributes to the revitalization of the south Downtown Los Angeles district. It is involved in the Business Improvement District, the Central City Association, and the Community Redevelopment Agency's Strategic Plan for the Figueroa Corridor.
