Compassion is one of our most visible and important gifts to our community's families and children. We only begin to comprehend compassion as we explore our heavenly Father's unending and unbending love for us. As He shows compassion towards us, we grow in compassion and extend God's love to others.

As a FaithBridge foster parent, volunteer or ministry partner, you put compassion (and kindness, humility, gentleness and patience) into action. You are Christ for those in crisis.

2011 National Foster Care Prayer Vigil

Many foster kids feel like they don't have a prayer...let's change that.

In honor of National Foster Care Month take time this May to participate in the 4th Annual National Foster Care Prayer Vigil to pray for the children and youth in foster care and those who touch their lives. Visit www.cryoftheorphan.org today and download a Foster Care Prayer Guide.

Together, we can show the kids in foster care they they really do have a prayer. The most exciting part is that we know God is listening.

Take a swing at the 2011 Fourth Annual Charity Golf Classic

FaithBridge Foster Care's 2011 Foster Care Charity Golf Classic will take place on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at BridgeMill Athletic Club in Canton, Georgia.

The cost is $500 per foursome or $135 per individual. All proceeds will fund academic and enrichment scholarships for foster children - things like summer camps, music lessons/instruments, art lessons, etc.

Tournament-day registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shot-gun start at 10:00 a.m. After the tournament, there will be a buffet dinner and awards ceremony where prizes will be given out to men and women in several categories.
