Dear (Contact First Name),

As Believers, we know the real reason for the Christmas season. But with the hustle and bustle of the holidays, the purpose of Christmas can be temporarily lost to us as we become overwhelmed with last minute shopping, parties and meal preparation.

I urge you to stop now for just a moment. Imagine the birth of our Lord and Savior in a modest manger amongst the humblest circumstances. This sweet child sent to save us from our sinfulness and to show us the heart of our Father. Like Jesus, the children that we serve are powerful, precious reminders of our Father's love and our call to the cross.

I pray that each of you keeps that image as your central thought this holiday season.

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."

- Luke 2:14 NIV

Wishing you every happiness this Christmas and continued blessings in the New Year.

Don't miss TV! Catch two foster events on TV this week.

Tomorrow night, Wed., Dec 22, 8:00 - 9:00 PM, ET/PT on CBS

Snuggle up on the couch for "The 12th Annual A Home for the holidays," an entertainment special celebrating the joys of foster care adoption. Enjoy inspirational stories highlighting many exceptional American children and families presented by a brilliant celebrity line-up and enhanced by performances by popular artists.

Thursday morning, Thurs., Dec 23, between 4:30 - 10 AM, ET on Fox 5 Atlanta

If you're in the greater Atlanta area, flip on "Good Day Atlanta" while you're having your morning coffee. You might catch a story about Jackson Healthcare, an Atlanta company where associates celebrate "Dress Down December" with personal contributions to a Christmas charity fund for foster children. The company matches the employees' donations and makes Christmas magical for three different foster care organizations--including ours. We thank the associates of Jackson Healthcare for their generosity and for including us in this Christmas celebration.

The story will likely run several times during the show and may include interviews with one of our FaithBridge foster parents, several teens from a local group home as well as Jackson Healthcare's CEO Rick Jackson, who is also the chairman of our board and an alumni of the foster care system.
