Sunday, May 22, David Walthall will present the topic of "Tuscan Troubadours: A Renaissance for Contemporary Tuscan Folk Music.
David Walthall is an American educator and scholar who has lived in Tuscany for the past 10 years, pursuing research in geography, music, and popular culture. He will reflect on contemporary folk music in Tuscany - its creators, consumers, and messages - as a "sounding board" for evolving notions of identity, heritage, and community.
