It is always fun to have some new brochures in the truck and our displays (not that we don't love our old friends). Joining our colorful lineup last year were:

The Dollhouse Factory in Barre, Lincoln Peak Vineyards in Middlebury, The Skinny Pancake in Burlington and Montpelier, Fin and Feather in Stowe, Christmas Past and Present in Quechee, Moosalamoo in Addison County, Burlington Brew Tours, Green Mountain Fibers in Rutland, The Moonlight Lady in Burlington, Wherezit.com and the Waterbury Festival Players.

Greetings!

We've had a great year at PP&D. We distributed millions of brochures for many long time friends and lots of new customers. We placed dozens of new displays at wonderful locations.

With over 50 years of combined experience, our service reps / drivers have provided an excellent (and consistent) workforce all year!

It is now contract writing season at PP&D (for most customers). Please let me know if you haven't seen your new proposal for 2010-11, and if you have any questions. Our new catalog should be done very soon.

Away from PP&D, I am now Chairperson of the Vermont Travel Industry Conference (see side bar) and President of the International Association of Professional Brochure Distributors (see below). Both great groups, I am learning a lot about other tourism organizations, gaining ideas which will benefit our company and our clients.

As always, I welcome any feedback, questions, comments or praise. You can contact me at Bill@ppdbrochure.com. Or to hear my real voice, call 802-862-4366.

Have you always wanted to know how your brochure stacks up? Be sure to check out an exciting new feature on the Professional Brochure Distribution Association website. If your brochure scored poorly, there is hope, and help, on YouTube.

The International Association of Professional Brochure Distributors has produced a great video on how to design and print an effective brochure, which can be found on YouTube. This is the first in a series. Stay tuned for: The Value Of Having a Brochure, Choosing a Distributor, and Integrating Brochure Distribution With A Web Presence.
