Greetings!

Summer arrived officially here in France with the National Music Festival celebration on June 21. The weather hasn't really been summery as far as temperatures are concerned, but the storms with lightening, thunder, lots of rain, and high humidity are indicators that summer is entering the scene.

Here's an overview of my traveling and activities in May and June:Veronica Graduation

MAY - to the USA for my niece Veronica's graduation from college and a visit with family. Return to France - a quick weekend in Paris with The Bridge - then to Grenoble for student ministry - on to Chambéry for an all day drive to the Pyrenees.

JUNE - back to Paris by train just in time to say good-bye to Sonia, a longtime member at The Bridge - University Life Group's first summer gathering - Birthday celebration for Guy, co-leader for University Group - welcoming to my home the Top Music team for Top Chrétien - The Bridge Team hosting the Church Life Conference in Paris - Baptism Service.

The Bridge International Church (part of FEIC) welcomed the Church Life Group to Paris June 21-22. Pastors and their team members, planting international churches all over Europe, gathered together for two days of intensive training with Doc Lee from Church Life Resources.

Remix University Ministry in Grenoble
Remix

I was privileged to visit and minister with my colleagues Mark and Dalene Good and their daughter Emma in Grenoble. Their work among the university students is taking root and bearing fruit. Here is the link to their hot-off-the-press website Remix.

The house was packed with students for the weekly meeting and the Lord was present in power to minister to each one. I got a great campus visit and joined in prayer for this vital ministry as we prayer-walked the University of Grenoble.

Visit to the Pyrenees
Field of Jonquils
Here is view of a field of white jonquils with Le Cambre d'Aze Peaks in the background. I had a few days in the Pyrenees mountains the first week of June. I accompanied my friend, Berthe, to her summer location, La Llagonne. Berthe and I have known each other since I arrived in France in 1995. How refreshing to breathe in that fresh mountain air away from the congestion and pollution of the city!

Baptism Celebration - The Bridge International Church Family
Baptism

What a celebration it was on Sunday, June 24th, as six new believers testified to their faith in Jesus and followed his example in Baptism. Two university students were part of the group.

It is such a joy and a privilege to accompany each one of them as they follow Jesus and learn more and more of what it means to be his disciples.

Follow the Bridge on Facebook.

The Lord has given me various spheres to be part of and to serve here in France. I am blessed to be with the teams where he has placed me in the Bridge International Church, in Students for Christ serving university students, in Top Chretien serving with a team of internet missionaries, and even cooperation with other mission groups in projects yet to come.

I am grateful to the Lord for the privilege of serving where he has called me. I am so thankful for your joining with me prayerfully and financially that together we may see his kingdom come and his will be done here in France, Europe, indeed all over the world!

May the Lord richly bless you!

Sincerely,
