First Bridge Paris University Group Retreat
 | | Contentment after refreshing |
Dieppe on the coast of Normandy was the destination for our first university students' retreat. Thanks to The Bridge team members, Dave and Sharon Roberts, we had a warm welcome, lodging, and meals. Dave, Sharon, Guy, and I encouraged the students to "Come, Be with Jesus, the Vine", basing our teachings on John 15-17. We had times of refreshing in praise, worship, and prayer. The fresh sea breeze invigorated us as we visited the seaport town. We all came away having grown closer to Jesus and one another. Everyone agreed that we should definitely plan for another retreat! |

American Students Visit Paris
Julia McCambridge (pictured in the center), youngest daughter of my high school friend, Nancy, came to visit Paris with four of her college friends (Sarah, Mae, Courtney, and Theresa) just before Easter. Now I can say that all three of her daughters have come to stay with me in France. Julia's twin sisters, Bernadette and Monica, also came for a visit with their college friends just a few years ago. It was fun to welcome them and we enjoyed sharing our experiences especially around the breakfast table. Here's to university students! They're the best!

Jesus.net Meetings in Belgium and The Netherlands
 | |
All of us were like sheep that were lost, each of us going his own way. (Isaiah 53:6)
|
These sheep were in the yard just outside our hotel in Doorn. As I took a walk in the morning before our meeting, I couldn't resist admiring the creativity of the sculptor, using rocks and metal to form the sheep. I thought about Jesus, our shepherd and how he gently leads us. Jesus.net Support team members from France and the Netherlands have been getting together for various committee meetings. Thanks to AGWM colleagues in Belgium, we had meetings twice at the Christian Center in Rhode St. Genèse, Belgium. Our last meeting was held in Doorn, The Netherlands at the Agape Center.

Team members, Tim, Nathalie, and Jan
|
Our main objective is leading people on the Internet, one by one, to Jesus through a clear step by step process. Here is the vision statement: Imagine a world with every single person having free access to the Gospel, knowing God, growing in Jesus, and sharing faith easily. |
