Bridge Staff Christmas 2011
Greetings!

Greetings from France! Here is The Bridge International Church Staff Christmas 2011 photo! What a joy and privilege for me to serve with such a dynamic team reaching the international population of Paris! The holiday season was a great time for welcoming many visitors to The Bridge. We also enjoyed an open house. December was eventful as the first weekend, Judy  Carmean and I attended an Alpha Forum. The second weekend, I travelled to Toulouse to visit Jose, Sonia, and Sara Ruiz, colleagues and friends in student ministry. I met with the students on Friday evening and on Sunday, introduced ConnaitreDieu to the local church. Upon my return to Paris, I attended two Christmas dinners, one with my team members at Top Chrétien, and the other with The Bridge staff family. I topped off 2011 and brought in 2012 with some new friends from Ireland, Ellie Murnane, a colleague in student ministry, and her mother. who came to visit Paris. Enjoy the pictures!

Alpha Forum
Alpha Forum
Saturday, December 3, Judy Carmean from the Bridge Team and I were privileged to attend an Alpha forum featuring Graham Tomlin, Anglican theologian and pastor at Holy Trinity in Brompton, England. Marc DeLeyritz, Alpha Course pioneer in France, introduced Graham and translated into French Graham's presentation on The Provocative Church. It was a powerful message, challenging us to be the kind of community that provokes the question - asking why we live the way we do. Graham's book The Provocative Church is on my must read list. Here's a link to Alpha in the USA. Check it out. There are several course options. It's a great way to share the faith!

Reset Student Ministry Toulouse

Dec. 9-11 was an eventful weekend set aside for a reunion with José, Sonia, and their daughter Sara. We have been working together in student ministry in France ever since my first term from 1995-2000. The Reset meeting was held the Friday evening after my arrival. I shared a brief teaching on prayer after a time of joyful worship. The students were very receptive, and we prayed for one another before ending the evening with some refreshments and fellowship. Reset is part of Students for Christ Europe.

Top Chretien Christmas Celebration

Christine Piauger and Muriel Célérier really prepared a fantastic Christmas celebration with a scrumptious meal for "Un Top Noël 2011". Stéphane Piauger planned fun activities. We all had a great time relaxing and enjoying one another. You can see more of my role and what's happening at Top Chretien on the website. Why not practice your French? What a great team!

A Blessed New Year 2012
Here we are at the end of January 2012 already! Sorry that I am getting my December 2011 news out to you so late.Thank you for your faithful support and prayers. Together we are reaching, planting, training, and touching in France. God has given me multiple opportunities to minister through Students for Christ, The Bridge, and TopChretien. Your giving and praying make it possible for me to be here and welcome these opportunities.

God bless you richly!
