Greetings!
October introduced beautiful fall colors, new activities, and a return visit to the Savoie. Here in Paris, I began meeting with students in the University Life Group at The Bridge and I renewed my friendship with Marie-Claude, a young French woman determined to serve the Lord.

Chanaz-Canal de Savière in Savoie

 | | Fall in Chanaz |
I took the TGV to Chambéry during the All Saints break to visit with Berthe Dussarrat, my friend since I arrived in France back in 1995. She hosted several dinners to introduce me to some new faces and to reconnect me with some old friends as well. She is quite the hostess. I took her out to eat the Sunday just before I returned to Paris in Chanaz at the Auberge de Savière. It was a special treat for both of us.

After our meal, we strolled along the canal and took in all the beautiful fall scenery. I thank God for our friendship. Berthe is a reference for me in France. I will never forget how she came into my life as an answer to prayer. Please pray for her and the church in Chambéry.

The first day of my visit in Chambéry, Berthe invited Marie-Jo, a Christian student at the Science and Technology campus of the University of Savoie. She desires to share the Good News of Jesus with her friends and motivate the other students at church to join her. What a delight to encourage her and give her some ideas!

We had a wonderful meal at Berthe's and visited the Lake at La Thuile. Isn't the reflection of the scenery in the Lake beautiful! Pray for Marie-Jo to be the catalyst for a new start of university ministry in Chambéry.

Marie-Claude Wolff
| Marie-Claude and I met in 2009. I helped her get settled at the Theological Seminary in Vaux-sur-Seine in February 2010. We recently got together to catch up on each other's news. We visited the Orangerie of Madame Elisabeth's Estate in Versailles. She was Louis XVI's sister. We saw a children's art exhibit entitled "Draw a Chateau for me". Marie-Claude just needs to finish her thesis for her degree. Please pray for her as she seeks to serve the Lord in France.

University Life Group
| Guy Orsot, a former student, and I have the delight of meeting with university students, the second and fourth Sunday of each month. We discuss the Sunday message and how to apply it to our lives. Thanks to Trinity International Church, we meet at Genesis, a renovated café, right in the center of Paris. To date, thirteen students have participated in our meetings. Please pray for us and our meetings. Pray that the students grow closer to Jesus and to one another. Pray that they catch the vision of sharing Jesus with their friends at their universities. |

Here's the latest photo of the Top Chrétien Team. I am serving as a Missionary Associate with this dynamic ministry. Jesus.net is the brand name of the Internet evangelism websites, developed to date in 18 languages. New, innovative ideas are constantly being tried and implemented at this laboratory for Internet evangelism and discipleship.
I desire to see university student ministry creatively involved and benefiting from this dynamism. Please pray with me that the Lord will bring together passionate hearts for university students and creative technological minds to develop applications with Jesus.net targeting the university community. I believe great innovations are within our reach to change our university campuses and thus, change our world.

Many Thanks!
I just love the Thanksgiving season. It truly is my favorite American holiday.
Something so especially uplifting and edifying happens in each one of us when we come together to give thanks to God.
I thank the Lord for the wonder of His love in giving Himself for us. What a joy to know him and live for him!
I am grateful for each one of you who prays for me and gives so generously that I may live here in France and serve those who are here.
The words of a song of Thanksgiving come to my heart as I write to you, may I encourage you to give thanks, not just at Thanksgiving but every day!
"Give Thanks with a grateful heart; Give Thanks to the Holy One; Give Thanks because He has given Jesus Christ, His son! And now, let the weak say, I am strong; Let the poor say, I am rich because of what the Lord has done for us. Give Thanks!"
