Montpellier greeted us with unseasonably cool weather for July. We met to take our project to the next level and hammer out a plan for the edification of missionary teams. Jim and Judy DeVries (seated bottom right in the photo) particularly helped steer the project discussion along. Judy shared Zephaniah 3:9 - to serve the Lord shoulder to shoulder - as inspiration for a name for our initiative. We adopted it.

Our objective is to communicate a Biblical view on singleness, marriage, and sexuality. Our principal resources are Barry Danylak's book,
Redeeming Singleness and video materials developed from our consultations in Guernsey available at
One Another Ministries.

We made a visit in the Cevennes to
The Desert Museum, dedicated to the history of the Camisards and the Huguenots. We also toured the medieval city,
Aigues-Mortes, once used as a major port and still an area where salt is produced.

Our mission would not have been complete had we not visited
Montpellier and enjoyed a meal together at a restaurant in the city center. We strolled down the wide walkways embellished by flower beds, shade trees, and an occasional fountain featuring a mythological or historical figure. We look forward to all that the Lord has planned for mission teams in Europe and beyond.
