A Touch of France

Stealey Assembly of God welcomed me for their morning service on Nov. 14th. How the church has grown! What a joy it was to see Annette Thrash again. I had met her at church during my last itineration in 2006. Annette, now 86, married Louis Thrash, a World War II soldier whom she met in France. She returned as his bride to Clarksburg, WV. Louis died in 1990. Annette is originally from Cambray near Lille, France.

November 7th I visited Christ Chapel MountainTop in Manassas, VA. Rob Seagers, the senior pastor, is also Church Development Director for the Potomac District. The church meets in a local high school auditorium on Sunday morning. Many other opportunities are available. Take a look at their website.
