Dear Friends,
I have returned to the USA! I arrived the evening of Monday, June 21st at Wahington Dulles International Airport. My pastor's wife, Johnese Burtram, and missionary colleagues, Bobi and Nancy Arsenovic greeted me and accompanied me to the Potomac Park Camp in Falling Waters, West Virginia, where I will be staying.
I had a few days to get settled in and adjusted to the jet lag. Then, I set out again to Baltimore-Washington International Airport on Saturday, June 26th for Missionary Renewal in Springfield, Missouri until Friday, July 2nd.
I returned to Virginia to spend time with family for the July 4th weekend festivities.

Family Fourth of July
|
 Here I am celebrating July 4th with family! I am seated to the left between my nieces, Gillian (to my right) and Veronica (to my left). My brother Marty and his wife, Kathy are seated at the head of the table. Across from me are my brother Peter and his wife, Audrey.
It was a wonderful meal and a fun reunion.

Wedding Bells for Myriam and Dyno
|
One of the joys of university ministry is participating in students' lives as they continue their journeys. Here I am (far right) at Myriam's wedding on June 5th.
She had introduced me to Dyno, her husband, before the wedding day, since we got together for dinner one evening in Paris.
The wedding was also a reunion with several former students. Agnès, just next to me and Elodie, to Dyno's right, were also students when I served in Chambéry at the University of Savoie.
It was a beautiful day, one I will always remember!

Remembering Trinity Bible College Days
|
It was wonderful to renew friendships from Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota. Norm and Betty Shuert managed to get a few of us together during Missionary Renewal week in Springfield, Missouri.
