Kick-off Meeting
Connaitre Dieu Spécial Etudiants
Here we are at the Crêpes Show restaurant last Friday, September 18th. It was the first student-delegate get-together for 2009-2010. (Pictured from left to right are Nathalie, Suzanne, Anne Sophie, André, and Cecilia.) Two local churches in the Paris area were represented: Anne Sophie from Communauté Protestante Evangélique in Montreuil, and Cecilia from Point du Jour in Boulogne-Billancourt, accompanied by André, their church delegate for ConnaitreDieu. Nathalie, ConnaitreDieu team member, who will train students as online counselors, was also present for this initial meeting. The crêpes were delicious and the conversation, very encouraging.

 Vacation in Southwest France
Baggage on the train from Paris to Toulouse included my bicycle! Then for ten days in mid-August, it was pedaling every day until Agde on the Mediterranean. What a way to see France! Great exercise, beautiful scenery, lots of local color. Stops along the way included Castelnaudary, Carcassonne, Marseillette, Azille, Le Somail, Béziers, and Cap d'Agde. Now is the time to put a visit from me on your church calendar sometime between August 2010 and July 2011! I know that seems too far away into the future. But, believe it or not, some churches have already scheduled me for a service. My calendar is gradually getting filled in.
