Graduation
I did it! I graduated on June 6, 2009 with a Master of Theology in Biblical Studies and Missions from Continental Theological Seminary in St. Pieter's Leeuw, Belgium. My thesis title is "A Church-Based Model of Ministry to University Students in France". My next task is to translate it into French. Please pray that it will benefit the development of ministry to university students.
My dear friends Nathalie (left) and Berthe (right) honored me with their presence.

CTS 50th Anniversary
The celebration of Continental Theological Seminary's 50th anniversary was combined with graduation. Pictured to the left are five former presidents with Joseph Dimitrov, the current president on the right. Seated is Brother Amitié, who was very influential in the early beginnings of CTS. Students at "Genesis"
Here are some of the students at our last meeting at Genesis on May 16th. We celebrated Geraldine's birthday (she's seated in the middle). She is learning more and more about Jesus Christ. We are grateful to Trinity International Church for the use of "Genesis", a former café. Students feel so at home. Genesis will be our home base for the next academic year 2009-2010. Click on Genesis

1 Hour of Prayer for Paris
Christians from various churches in the Paris area gathered together on May 23rd from 3 to 4 pm at the Bastille in the 11th district to pray for Paris. This was a premier event given the approval of the local mayor. Prayer was offered by individuals representing various groups of people in society, for example, doctors, lawyers, single parents, ethic minorities, politicians, police, etc. The young woman pictured to the left is a university student. Of course, she prayed for the university students of the Paris region, the professors, the university administration, and the recent strikes. For more information click on 1hour for Paris
