QG TEAM Student Leaders--Back to Work in January!

Here we are in session January 12th. From left to right, Nathalie, Nerlande, Judikael, Marius, and Rosalind. We celebrated "Three Kings" with the traditional "galette" and apple cider. Marius found the charm in his piece of cake and was crowned "king" for the evening.

Lots was accomplished: we evaluated our first semester, brain-stormed for more ideas on how to involve more students in the ministry, and planned the upcoming events. Please pray for these leaders.

Home with Family for Christmas 2008

PuzzleWhat a joy it was to be with family for Christmas! I was at home whether in Virginia with my brother Marty and his wife, Kathy, or in Maryland with my brother Peter, his wife, Audrey, and my nieces, Veronica and Gillian.

It was heart-warming fun to decorate cookies, work on jigsaw puzzles by the fireplace, take a walk around the neighborhood, and sit down to family meals. Although I could not be with them, I got to talk to my brother Mark and his wife, Ann, in Arizona, and my nephew, Matthew and his wife, Rebekah, in Louisiana.

I am grateful for the family time I had this Christmas.

It was a reunion for me with Cindy at the WMS2 held in Cincinnati, Ohio, from 30 Dec. 08 to 2 Jan. 09. Cindy came to France in 1998 with a Chi Alpha Missions team from Eastern Michigan U. to assist me at the University of Savoie in Chambéry.  She and her husband continue to support missions in Europe.

We were about 4,000 students from the USA and missionaires to various nations at the Duke Energy Center. I met with twelve students interested in serving in missions in France.
