Since you were one of those who responded, we wanted to get back to you with a first draft of the results.
Transformational Development (TD) is
not just "development" with spiritual indicators mixed in, thus "wholistic" but
rather the work of God through every dimension of life that results in shalom
(renewal and fullness of life as God intended). The hard part is learning how
to determine, facilitate, measure and report on that God ordained process.
We have the results from the survey in several parts found under the heading Transformation Survey in the Articles Section on the CNT web site:
- First is an Excel document, Transformation Survey Results without narrative 7-5.xls, that gives the tabulation of the questions (#1,2,3,5 & 11) that lend themselves to automatic tabulation by the survey instrument.
- A second is a Word document, Transformation Indic Narrative Answers.doc, with tabulations and summaries of the narrative questions (#4,6,7,8,9,10,12,13,14,15,16,17 & 18) which was done from the raw results.
- A third segment of the survey includes suggestions on multiple tools that some of the respondents were using. We are passing those along to you for your consideration.
To view and download the results of the Excel and Word Documents as well as the suggested tools, click here to go to the Transformation Survey
From your
observations and
analysis of the survey results, What Best Practices in TD could be
suggested? Please send those to: stan@neighborhoodtransformation.net
We anticipate presenting the results at several different meetings,
built around workshops that will get input from the participants on
what the findings mean to them and how they would consider using the
results in their ministries.
