Girls Leadership Development Program

 

    

University Women Connecting Girls, Inspiring Futures

Josef Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver, Colorado University, Denver, and Colorado State University female interns are developing future leaders for the only all girls school in the Bor region of South Sudan. The Girls' Leadership Development Program is being designed to support the 450 young girls at Ayak Anguei Girls' Primary School to address the need for leadership development through the following programs:

• Girls Empowerment Through Sports
• Girls Student Government Leadership
• Girls Health Education Initiative: Feminine Hygiene and HIV Education

Our purpose is to develop and increase girls leadership within the community to increase gender equality, female decision-making, and leadership roles for females.
