Farewell Meera, Welcome Rosanne!

As of next Tuesday, October 18th, the Administrative Assistant role at Project Education Sudan will be taken by Rosanne Juergens. Rosanne recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Women's College at the University of Denver with a BS in Communication.
I'm excited to be more fully engaged with Project Education Sudan, assisting Carol with her efforts to help the 3,000 children in South Sudan. While President of Lamda Pi Eta at The Women's College, our "Bloomers for Bottoms" campaign collected 1600 pairs of underwear as part of the Bookpacks & Panty Program for sister school Ayak Anguei. Carol and I were part of a panel at the DU Women's Conference this past spring. Our breakout session showcased the partnership between Project Education Sudan and The Women's College. These experiences have drawn me in to the mission of PES and I'm glad to be even more involved! I look forward to meeting and working with many of you soon!

Meera will remain the Board Secretary and plans to volunteer as much as possible - she is going to be taking some personal time to work on her graduate thesis and do some wedding planning!
I'm so grateful for the opportunities given to me by PES. The work that this team is doing is incredible, and working here has opened up my eyes to the need in South Sudan. I hope to continue being involved with helping the children and people of South Sudan. I've met so many wonderful people and have learned so much in the past year. While I'm going to miss being in the office, I look forward to helping out in a different capacity and using the experience I have gained here in future endeavors.
