Over the Edge for the Cause -
Joe Takes a Tumble!
Joe Rogers made it to the 54th Peak, Snowmass Mountain, before taking a tumble during his descent - loose rock and one wrong turn led them to the insecure shale. Although he fell about 40 feet, incurring moderate injuries, he is back in Denver recovering and his spirits are high! Hang in there Joe, we're all rooting for your recovery!
Joe is disappointed he can't continue climbing but Nick Spivey, his faithful climbing partner, feels very moved to complete the challenge in honor of the suffering the Lost Boys of Sudan endured during their trek.
Nick, an experienced climber, feels confident he will complete the last four peaks, Longs, Holy Cross, and Grays & Torreys, by Friday September 9th. Other climbers have volunteered to join him during the remaining days of the trek.

"There are risks any individual is willing to take if you believe in and love something."
