Climb For Sudan Team

Our Climb for Sudan Team has been working tirelessly all summer to put together the most ambitious fundraising event to date for Project Education Sudan.  The hard work and dedication of our climbers Joe Rogers and Nick Spivey, the former Lost Boys of Sudan and all of our volunteers have allowed us to raise over $60,000 (and still going!) for the people of South Sudan. Hours spent on press releases, envelope stuffing, social media, presentations at Film on the Rocks, educating and raising funds, designing invitations, securing silent auction and goody bag items, finding fundraising opportunities, handing out bracelets, posting fliers, and working the September 9th big event!

Thank you to all of our dear and dedicated Climb For Sudan volunteers for climbing with us!

Joe & Nick!Dude! Where's the Summit?

Joe Rogers and Nick Spivey are on their final stretch!  They've climbed 53 of the 58 14,000' mountains in

Colorado!  Check out their blog and latest video and drop them a note -Nick Spivey they would love a bit of encouragement

for the final few peaks to help them get through their back pains, knee pains, eye infections, weight loss, callouses, sore feet, tired muscles...

Great job dudes!

Climbers of the Week:

Lost Boys of Sudan

The Climb for Sudan is in honor of the Lost Boys of Sudan and the trek they endured over 1,000 miles.  These amazing young men have overcome incredible obstacles with education as their beacon of light.  The young men have participated in doing presentations at schools across Colorado and for our corporate sponsors, and have helped spread the word on stage at Film on the Rocks.

They are the Honorary Guests of Top of the Peak and were the inspiration for Joe and Nick.  Joe with his back injury and eye infections and Nick with his knee problems have said that their suffering is minor compared to what the Lost Boys had to endure.

Thank you Lost Boys for taking the time out of your lives to be climbers!
