A Message from Daniel Majok Gai on July 9, 2011 Bor, South Sudan

Convey my deepest regards to my dear Sudanese and American friends at this pivotal point in South Sudan's history. This is a time for all South Sudanese world wide to unite and pray for peace and prosperity for our newest nation in the world. We started celebrating yesterday with dancing, wrestling and singing. This morning public school children are marching on the roads singing songs of joy and struggle during civil war period, women and elderly people are busy cleaning their

homes and compounds.

We want to be clean in our hearts and our environments as well  as that is what the Jonglei state authorities have declared to be done today as a symbol of clean intentions and heart.   All the people in South Sudan are asked to attend the Church services, ring the belts and light the candles this evening to pray and welcome the birth of our youngest nation in the whole world, the Republic of South Sudan.

Freedom is here for Southerners and that means more works needs to be done. After July 9, 2011, all Southern Sudanese and their friends around the globe need to put on new gears to support their new nation. Development will not come alone without hard workers.

The message I want to pass on to my brothers
Richard Rinehart, Lual Awok, and Panther Achek
Rich Rinehart connecting with dear Lost Boy friends Lual Awok and Peter Achek
and sisters in Denver is,  those who are doing something with PES I challenge you to work hard supporting PES activities taking place this year.

For those Sudanese who are waiting to join PES, I encourage you strongly that there is no more time to delay.

What are you waiting for?  The journey to freedom and equality for all has already started and development for our South Sudan nation will not wait. It is time for you to sow your seeds. You can support PES by sharing your life story, by contributing your solidarity for Sudan, donating money, and by bringing partners to join up with PES.

Thank for your hard work to make the dream come true for our people in the communities we are working with in Jonglei State, South Sudan.

God bless everybody,
Daniel Majok Gai
