We have launched the Climb For Sudan and all our "climbers" are ascending to wonderful heights already! Join in and become a climber! On July 9, 2011, South Sudan will be celebrating their very first Independence Day and we couldn't be more thrilled to dedicate this summer to the people of South Sudan.

We're looking forward to a summer of "climbing", raising awareness of the newest nation in the world, and raising funding for the need for education in a newly emerging democratic country where only 33% of children have the opportunity to go to school.  We hope you join us in our efforts - if you see the Climb For Sudan SUV driving around town, honk, stop, make a donation and receive an "I Climb For Sudan" bracelet! And be sure to tell your friends to join thousands of others and donate to become a "climber" for the cause!

Aracely and Lindsey Pesek
Aracely and Lindsey Pesek
Aracely and Lindsey Pesek are climbers! This mother and daughter team became involved with Project Education Sudan through Lindsey's high school, Eaglecrest, which is a sister school to the PES school Ayak Anguei Girls' Primary School. Aracely and Lindsey started a fundraising project to bring greater awareness to the needs of these students in Southern Sudan. Their project was one of 10 fundraising/charitable organizations chosen in August of 2010 by Donny Osmond's "Making a Difference" (M.A.D.) Program. They have raised money to help build bunkbeds for the dormitory at Ayak Anguei Girls' Primary School, donated bracelets to the girls at the school, and have created a Crowdrise page to help raise funds and awareness during the Climb For Sudan!
