Corning's Gaffer District Announces Annual Race Fever

August 4, 2011 - Corning, NY - Corning's Gaffer District is pleased to announce the 26th annual Race Fever night on Thursday, August 11, 2011.
This year's event takes place from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Bridge Street in Corning's Gaffer District. Some highlights of this year's event include:
- Live broadcasts with WINK 106, WINGZ 104.9 and The Big Pig 100.9
- Meet & Greet/Autograph Session with drivers
- NASCAR #88 Dale Earnhardt Jr. National Guard Show Car
- Activities at J&T's Auto Café, including:
- Pit Crew Challenge
- Duck Race to benefit Corning Meals on Wheels
- Michael Waltrip Racing Experience Simulator

- W. William Street from Wallace Street to Bridge Street
- E. William Street from Bridge Street to Ferris Street
- Riverside Drive from Bridge Street to Ferris Street
- Municipal Lots #32, 33 and 34 (Behind Bridge Street Businesses)
