Corning's Gaffer District Announces Annual Farmers' Market

June 9, 2011 - Corning, NY - Corning's Gaffer District invites you to celebrate local flavor this summer at the annual Corning Farmers' Market.
The Corning Farmers' Market is open in Riverfront Centennial Park every Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm and offers a variety of fresh local fruits and vegetables, baked goods, homemade pasta and farm-fresh eggs and poultry. In addition to food, customers will also enjoy selections from artisans including home décor, handmade crafts and jewelry, along with a special chair massage service. Back by popular demand, Corning's Gaffer District restaurant, Frills of New York, will serve a limited menu of signature salads, sandwiches and wraps made to order while you wait.
The farmers' market opens on Thursday, June 9th and will remain open each Thursday until October 20th. Visitors are encouraged to check the market's offerings regularly as products vary throughout the five-month season.
