Highmark to Introduce Physical Medicine Program,
Effective Sept 1. 2012
If you haven't already, you will be receiving this special bulletin from Highmark regarding Registration and Authorization for physical medicine management. Highmark is implementing a policy which requires the registration of your patients as well as authorization and treatment plans after eight (8) visits. The majority of physical therapy, occupational therapy and manipulations will be affected.
We are in the process of scheduling an onsite training here at MBSS with Highmark representative's Kevin Henderson and Harry Manley for all of our billing clients. Harry has been appointed as the new PT/DC Highmark representative so it will be a great opportunity to meet your new representative in person.
