July 10      Discover Nacogdoches registration deadline for businesses. Formerly known as Nacogdoches Treasure Hunt, this is the event that encourages SFA students to visit your business during the fall semester. Register and/or donate prizes so students will discover your business!

July 15      Leadership Nacogdoches registration deadline for applicants.

July 23      Fourth Friday Luncheon "50th Anniversary of the University Series," presented by Sylvia Bierschenk, noon - 1 p.m., at Hotel Fredonia Banita Ballroom.

July 27      "The Power of Email Marketing for Business Owners and Entrepreneurs" presented by Amy Tinsley, regional development director for Constant Contact, Inc. 1 - 3 p.m., at Hotel Fredonia.

July 28      Ribbon Cutting - Covenant Church of Nacogdoches, 4:45 p.m. 342 N. University Dr. Pastor Jan Pate, (903)721-3556. New church and Chamber member. Come-and-go reception following ceremony with refreshments and building tours. All are invited to join the song and praise service at 6:45 p.m.

July 30      Meet & Greet SFA Parents, 2 p.m., City parking lot at Mound and Main St. A Chamber member benefit.

Aug. 19     QuickBooks� seminar "Do's, Don'ts & How-Do-I's" presented by Lois Jackson, a staff accountant with Axley & Rode, LLP in Nacogdoches and a certified QuickBooks� Advanced Pro-Advisor, with years of training experience. Registration is required and space is limited.

Sept. 28     89th Annual Chamber Meeting and Banquet. The 2010 Citizen of the Year and business excellence award recipients will be honored, and the 2010-11 Chamber Board of Directors will be inducted.
