clinician's bulletin

October 2011

Dear

For several years now, you've heard us say that the Heelift® Suspension Boot can be customized to fit every patient's needs. But somewhere along the way, it seems as though a more important point has been lost.

For most patients, the Heelift doesn't need any customization whatsoever. It's true. When people evaluate the Heelift in their facilities, we ask them what steps they took to customize the boot. An overwhelming majority say the same thing...nothing. They simply remove the boot from the bag, pull the spare elevation pad out, and put the boot on the patient.

All that having been said, isn't it nice to know that the Heelift will work for every patient? Sure, it's nice to have the "plug and play" convenience that the Heelift offers, but as you know, patients' needs change, and wouldn't you rather have a boot that will adapt to their changing needs than a supposed "one size fits all" that doesn't fit everyone?

To find more clinical papers , resources and tools to show you why the Heelift is the right solution for your patients, visit our new Nursing Station.

As always, if there is anything we at DM Systems Inc. can do to help you in your practice, please do not hesitate to let us know. We want to hear from you, and can be reached at this address

Sincerely,

"For the short time the resident was able to use and receive benefit from the boot. It was, in his words, "the Cadillac of boots."
