Honored with the Golden Butterfly at Movies that Matter

At Amnesty International's Matter of Act Awards in the Hague, Netherlands, Etweda "Sugars" Cooper, the secretary general of the Liberian Women's Initiative, accepted the Golden Butterfly on behalf of The Liberian Mass Action Campaign for Peace, captured in Pray the Devil Back to Hell, for the most impressive human rights activist / organization.

The Fifth Annual Global Women's Rights Awards

The Feminist Majority Foundation will hold its Fifth Annual Global Women's Rights Awards in Beverly Hills on April 29th. Mavis and Jay Leno together with Eleanor Smeal will co host an evening that will feature a panel conversation with distinguished honorees. PDBH Producer Abigail Disney, Director Gini Reticker, and Activist Janet Johnson Bryant will take part showcasing excerpts of the film. Open to the public.
