Pray The Devil Back to Hell to screen at
the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland!

Pray the Devil Back To Hell has the honor of being the first film ever to show at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on January 31.

The screening, hosted by the International Center for Transitional Justice, will precede a conversation with Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof along with director Gini Reticker and producer Abigail Disney. The panel will be moderated by Paul van Zyl, Executive Vice President of the International Center for Transitional Justice, and Archbishop Tutu and Mr. Kristof will comment on human rights, justice, and peacemaking in Africa, with an emphasis on the role of women.

In recent news, on January 22nd and 23rd, Abigail E. Disney and Leymah Gbowee brought the film to Norway:

"This week we screened the film to appreciative audiences in Oslo and Tromso, Norway. In Oslo, the house was packed to overflowing, and included ambassadors, governments ministers, students, artists and political activists. The panel afterwards was incredibly interesting, and though it lasted for more than 45 minutes, the crowd stayed for all of it, and then lingered long after waiting for a chance to talk to Leymah.

In Tromso, 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle, Leymah and I landed at sunrise, and screened at sunset—only four hours later! The students and faculty of the Peace Studies Institute who attended the screening were incredibly inspired by the women’s story and we all discussed many ideas to support Leymah’s further work and to collaborate with Peace Is Loud into the future." -- Abigail E. Disney, Producer, Pray the Devil Back to Hell

The film continues to open in cities throughout the US, including Seattle and Cleveland, as well as screening in the TriContinental Film Festival in India. See below for details and be sure to tell your friends!
