Easter Paska
paska

Nature's Corner has been baking Easter Bread -"Paska" for the last 4 years.
Many people are not sure of what exactly this is.
I use my family recipe.
It is a traditional bread - a light and fluffy sweet bread, a specially-baked Easter bread, which has great symbolic significance in Ukraine.
It can be a tall, cylindrical loaf, or a braided circular loaf, sometimes with hardboiled coloured Easter eggs baked into it.
They usually are decorated with extra dough of symbols welcoming springtime. Usually Christian symbols, like crosses or flowers, leaves, birds, and sun.
The bread is brushed with an egg wash to give them their golden brown colour. And sometimes the Paska is iced with a sweet icing.
Traditionally these are not eaten until Easter Sunday, when the Easter feast is laid on the table and consumed by the family.

In order to be sure to have a Paska bread for this Easter you have until next Wednesday March 31st to place your order
