We are working with Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors which will custom-cut beef to the customers' specifications. While we already have great beef, we want to make it even better. Our Myong Burger is going to be off-the-hook, combining Dry Aged, short rib, brisket, and Skirt will make our burger the one to beat! Pat LaFrieda butchers begin the night before each business day so that our order is processed and ready to ship by 5:30 AM the next morning. It won't get any fresher than that! |

Really great things are on the horizon for us! The NY Times gave us a very nice review and we continue to reach for perfection. One of the things that we are striving to do is speed up your orders from the kitchen to the table. We will NOT compromise on the quality just to make dining faster. Everything we do is "to order" and this is the only way to prepare your meal. Our menu is going to be revised. While staying healthy, delicious and decadent, we want to use even more local and home-style flair keeping our beautiful presentation. You'll also see more varied selections.
Al Corbelli, our Mixologist, has a new Cocktail Menu out for your summer pleasure featuring the Frozen Myonghrita, and a bevy of concoctions that will curl your toes! Monday and Tuesday, our Signature Cocktails are HALF PRICED! So come in and taste all our new flavors from the Bar to the Kitchen. It's all for you!
Finally, did you know that we cater BBQ's and backyard parties? The Amazing Myong Burger is available as part of BBQ Catering Package including Kobe Hotdogs, Asian Spicy Ribs, Cello Wraps, awesome Potato Salad and sides. "It isn't easy to categorize Myong Gourmet - but that isn't neces sarily a bad thing. The owner, Myong Feiner, a self-taught chef, was born in South Korea and is clearly influenced by Asian tastes. The miso-marinated black cod is a savory example. There is a flavorful kalbi, the traditional Korean grilled short rib, and a knockout appetizer called black Asian noodles - black beans, sautéed pork and vegetables - that tasted like it came out of some deep, magical forest...  The unifying factors are freshness, a healthful approach (very little cream or butter is used) and strong attention to detail. The cod is accompanied by an evocative forbidden rice, and you'll find quinoa and many gluten-free offerings on the menu - but no white rice. The veal chop is hormone-free; the "naturally raised" chicken breast is from Murray Farm. Even though much of the food is rich in taste, it won't leave you feeling weighed down. (Read More) |

Lamb Sliders - Why are they so addictive?

Yes, this is our number 1 appetizer on the First Taste menu. Why? After you've purchased the most tender shoulder portion farm raised, hormone free ground lamb; this begins the process of creating what seems like a simple dish. Of course salt and pepper, but a few secret middle eastern spices are added, then a mild Indian Curry Dressing, and under the Brioche bun, is Myong's famous Asian coleslaw tying the bow on this amazing dish. You could try to make these at home, but they'll never be the same. Just remember, lean in! They are very juicy. |

Ok, the market's dropping, Washington has no clue how to help our economy, gas is high, food costs are high, and MYONG WANTS TO HELP! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday is Three for $30! You get an appetizer, and entree and a dessert all for $30 bucks! (Spirits, Beer, and Wine additional) The Prix Fixe menu will be changing often to reflect the diversity of our menu and talents so there will be plenty of new choices! |
