As the end of the year approaches, we are thankful for the
many members of our community who have supported the Haverford Township School
District Education Foundation over the past several years.
To those of you who have supported us
with your time and money, we thank you!
As you consider your year-end charitable giving, we hope that
you keep us in mind. For the last
five years, we have funded over 70 innovative programs which have enriched the
lives of students in the district.

We are also nearing the end of raising funds for our first
large-scale project, the building a state of the art TV studio at Haverford
High School. The first phase of
the studio is built and the classes have already started in the new multi-media
curriculum, teaching journalists of tomorrow in all media: TV, radio, websites
and print.
More good news!
Just last week the foundation agreed to match donations made by June 30,
2010 up to $5,000 to raise money for WHHS, the radio station at Haverford High
School. The first high school
radio station in the country is in need of updated equipment and money to get
back on the web, where it once was heard 24 hours a day. Read about WHHS, recently the subject

Neither our educational programs nor the TV studio and WHHS
support would have happened without your continued help!
If you choose
to make a donation (which is tax deductible), you can make a year-end
contribution in one of several ways:
- A
donation in honor of a school district staff member. The staff member will be notified of your gift. Ifyou have a young child, he or she can download a card from
our website to color and give the staff member
- A
donation in memory of loved one.
The foundation will notify the family members of the person you memorialize
- A donation to the TV studio
fund
- A donation to the WHHS radio
station fund
- A donation to the S. Virginia
Murphy fund which supports special needs students
- A general donation
